on top of a knoll in Leilani Estates, Angel House is set on two acres of
newly planted tropical plants and offers the privacy of a home in this popular neighborhood.
The owners live in Japan and are here part of the year, the rest of the time it is open to
guests who appreciate a cozy comfortable atmosphere with a very open floor plan. The owners
have planted over 80 palms on the property, many lining the drive up to the house.
A long ramp leads to the front door, one of the many touches that make this property
accessible to the disabled. Once inside, the open space with high ceilings and wood floors
provides a warm, comfortable living area with satellite TV, formal dining area, fully equipped
kitchen, and a beautiful baby grand piano! The house has a complete 360-degree wraparound lanai
offering outdoor seating for dining or relaxing. There are sliding doors and windows everywhere
allowing you to enjoy the tropics from every room.
Angel House has three bedrooms and two baths and can accommodate up to six people. A
bedroom with twin beds and en suite bath is on one side of the house. The other side has two
bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a queen. Those two bedrooms share a bath with
a Japanese shower/tub that is interesting, practical, and also accessible. The home also has
a spacious laundry room.
Just a few minutes from the town of Pahoa or 30 minutes into Hilo make this property
a wonderful location whether you are vacationing, visiting, or working temporarily. Snorkeling
areas are about 10-15 minutes away and Hawaii Volcanoes National park is less than an hour.
